Information on changing the holding format (May 11, 2021)

The 33rd Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery considered the impact of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and had made preparations so that the event could be held as a hybrid format congress, mainly online and partly on-site.

However, Japanese Government requested to use our meeting venue, Osaka International Convention Center for a large scale Covid-19 Vaccination Center, we were not available to hold our meeting on-site. It was very sorry that Board of Directors of the JSHBP had to decide to change meeting format to “Virtual meeting”.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to all concerned regarding this change in the holding format.

Therefore, we would like to give you an overview as follows.

Chairman's Lecture, Educational Seminar, Educational Video, Project Research, Video Session, Requested Session, Free Paper (Oral and Poster) are to be presented as on-demand streaming from June 2 to June 30.

Co-sponsored seminars are basically presented as live-streaming by using Zoom Webinar.
